Servers Are Live

HoYoverse activated Evolution Test servers on July 9, 2026 at 10:00 UTC+8. The closed beta runs until July 27, 2026 at 18:00 UTC+8, giving accepted Planestriders roughly eighteen days to explore new systems before the mandatory data wipe. This is a free test with no monetization; content may change before global release.

The Evolution Test expands core gameplay beyond the earlier Nexus Bond Test with Anima evolution, Chromatic Anima encounters, photography and naming features, new Iia districts, and companions Nanafey, Bai Mei, and Olympia. Exclusive Supply Drops

After completing the main quest "The Hunted Prisoner," testers receive an in-game mail titled "Evolution Test Resupply" containing 5 Protean Pills, 15 Nexus Wisps, and 10 Nexus Traces. These items help accelerate early Anima bonding and Nexus Battle progression during the limited test window.

Supply drops arrive automatically through the mail system—no promo codes required. Use resources toward your primary Aspect synergy cluster rather than spreading upgrades across temporary flex slots, since all inventory resets when servers close on July 27.

Device and Account Restrictions

Access binds to the first device used to log in on each eligible platform. Each HoYoverse account may use only one PC device, one iOS device, and one Android device during the test period. Switching hardware mid-test may lock you out until HoYoverse support intervenes.

Cross-platform progression syncs through your HoYoverse account when using registered devices. Review requirements and platforms before installing clients from unofficial sources, which violate beta terms and risk account penalties.

Content Sharing Guidelines

HoYoverse permits sharing Evolution Test gameplay within platform posting guidelines. Avoid distributing unreleased assets beyond officially marketed footage, respect NDA boundaries on datamined content, and credit HoYoverse when reposting trailers. Troubleshooting: Stuck Character Recovery

If your character becomes unable to move or respond to controls during the Evolution Test, HoYoverse recommends restarting the client first. When a simple restart does not resolve the issue, use the built-in Recover from Stuck State function: Main menu → Settings → Other → Recover from Stuck State. This teleports your Animaster to a safe position without wiping quest progress.

Persistent crashes or device lockouts after switching hardware may require waiting for HoYoverse support—remember each account binds to the first device used per platform during the test. Mobile players should also review mobile touch controls when misinputs mimic stuck-state bugs.
